La banda de rock de Nashville, Roxercat, lanzó su nuevo video musical, Crime el pasado 3 de Febrero.
Tras el lanzamiento de dos sencillos bien recibidos, Roxercat lanzó su EP de seis canciones «Pearls» el 13 de enero. Roxercat es una banda de rock progresivo con sede en Nashville, Tennessee, dirigida por la cantante y compositora Price Jones, el guitarrista Stan Lassiter y el bajista. Bill Francis. Varios músicos invitados también aparecen en las grabaciones.
El sonido de Roxercat presenta la narración imaginativa y la maestría musical estelar que se espera de un grupo tan experimentado de creativos de Nashville. Grabado en Sound Emporium Studios de Nashville con sobregrabaciones en Cat Tracks Studio, el EP fue coproducido por Price Jones y el ingeniero y productor ganador del premio Grammy® Clarke Schleicher.
Crime es una súplica conmovedora para que las personas dejen de ceder su poder a sistemas diseñados para distraer, pacificar e influir: «te bebes sus gemidos hasta que te emborraches de rabia«, canta Price Jones. Es una advertencia para recuperar el control de nuestras mentes, creencias y pensamientos. Nashville rock band, Roxercat to release their new music video, Crime.
Following the release of two well-received singles, Roxercat released their six-song EP «Pearls” on Jan 13th. Roxercat is a progressive rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee, led by singer and songwriter Price Jones, guitarist Stan Lassiter, and bassist Bill Francis.
Various guest musicians also appear on the recordings. Roxercat‘s sound features the imaginative storytelling and stellar musicianship expected from such a seasoned group of Nashville creatives. Recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studios with overdubs at Cat Tracks Studio, the EP was co-produced by Price Jones and Grammy® award-winning engineer and producer Clarke Schleicher.
Crime is a rocking plea for people to stop giving away their power to systems designed to distract, pacify, and influence – «you drink their whines ‘til you’re drunk with rage,» sings Price Jones. It’s a warning to take back control of our minds, beliefs, and thoughts. It’s too easy in a fast-paced, digital world to blindly believe what you may read or hear without question and allow others to dictate who you should love or hate. «You just let them in. You give it all away.»
