Kiey presenta ‘Sunday Sanctuary‘ una cancion Electro-Pop que envía un mensaje de tranquilidad y positividad!
Nacido en la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, uno de los pocos estados comunistas que quedan en el mundo, el artista de electro-pop Kiey se ha propuesto llegar al público internacional con su música electro-pop en inglés.
Inspirándose en el lugar en el que pasó tres años estudiando, Londres, la canción etérea y única de Kiey ‘Sunday Sanctuary‘ es el primer sencillo perfecto para presentar la vibra y el mensaje de su próximo álbum del mismo nombre.
Kiey comenzó a producir música en 2015 durante su tiempo libre en la Universidad de King’s College en Londres, donde cantaba en cada oportunidad que tenía, para aprender a crear su propia música y comprar equipos.
Al decidir crear canciones pop solo en inglés, la música de Kiey difiere mucho de las ondas de radio de Vietnam, que están ocupadas con baladas tradicionales y, en cambio, apuntan a una audiencia internacional.
Al regresar a Vietnam, estaba decidido a seguir adelante con su sueño de crear música influenciada por algunos de sus héroes musicales, incluidos Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears, Sia y Joji. El resultado es el álbum debut Night to Myself, lanzado en 2019, donde se extrae la pista Piccadilly, una impresionante mezcla de melancólicas texturas electro y la voz de Kiey ambientada en un mundo de sueños de neón en el que anhela regresar a las oscuras pero emocionantes calles de Londres.
Ahora Kiey se está preparando para lanzar su segundo álbum, usando el mensaje de ‘Sunday Sanctuary‘ como el primer pincel de positividad que espera traer al mundo.
En esencia, la canción trata sobre la serenidad y la felicidad de pasar tiempo con los seres queridos un domingo.
El contenido de la letra describe la sensación de agotamiento después de una ajetreada semana de trabajo y la alegría de pasar todo el domingo con alguien, ya sea un amante o un miembro de la familia, realizando diversas actividades mundanas (caminar, ir de compras, tomar café, etc.).
En la visión de Kiey, el mensaje y el tono de la canción representan el estado de ánimo dulce y eufóricamente agradable del álbum.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam one of the few communist states left in the world, electro-pop artist Kiey has aimed to target international audiences with his English electro-pop music.
Taking inspiration from the place he spent three years studying, London, Kiey’s ethereal and unique song ‘Sunday Sanctuary‘ is the perfect first single to introduce the vibe and message of his upcoming album of the same name.
Kiey first started producing music in 2015 during his free time at University at King’s College in London, sing every opportunity to learn how to create his own music and get his hands on equipment which he bought online.
Deciding to create English language-only pop songs, Kiey’s music differs greatly from Vietnam’s airwaves which are taken up with traditional ballads and instead aims for an international audience.
Returning to Vietnam, he was determined to follow through with his dream of creating music influenced by some of his musical heroes, including Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears, Sia and Joji – the result is the debut album Night to Myself, released in 2019, from which the track Piccadilly is taken, a stunning mix of melancholic electro textures and Kiey’s vocals set in a neon dreamworld in which he yearns to return to the dark yet exciting streets of London.
Now Kiey is readying to release his sophomore album, using the message of ‘Sunday Sanctuary’ as the first brush of positivity which he hopes to bring into the world amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
The song at its core is about the serenity and happiness of spending time with loved ones on a Sunday.
The lyrical content describes the feeling of exhaustion after a busy week of work and the joy of spending the whole of Sunday with someone be it a lover or a family member doing various mundane activities (taking walks, shopping, drinking coffee etc).
In Kiey’s vision, the message and tone of the song represents the overarching sweet and euphorically pleasant mood of the album.
