Esta canción ‘4 AM‘ es la primera canción que escribí después de conducir por todo el país desde Nueva York hasta California. Me mudé de costa a costa para romper el ciclo en el que vivía, obtener una nueva perspectiva y perseguir mi sueño. Esencialmente, esta canción se trata de hacer lo que te hace feliz, no te conformes con lo que te hace sentir seguro.

Yo (Azi) grabé ‘4 AM‘ en una cabaña de estudio en Palo Alto, California. Sk8miles, un productor de Ecuador, creó el ritmo de esta canción.

Elegí esta canción para mi primer video musical porque realmente me gustan las canciones que construyen y tienen tensión y liberación. El mensaje es ‘No renuncies a tus sueños’ porque si lo haces, te perderás a ti mismo. ¡Pensé que esta canción era un buen sencillo para lanzar, ya que establecerá el tono para todos los otros lanzamientos de baladas que lanzaré pronto!

Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?
This song ‘4 AM‘ is the first song I wrote after driving all the way across the country from New York, to California. I moved from coast to coast to break the cycle I was living in, gain a new perspective, and chase my dream. Essentially, this song is about doing what makes you happy – don’t settle for what feels safe.

I (Azi) recorded ‘4 AM‘ in a studio cottage in Palo Alto, California. Sk8miles, a producer from Ecuador, created the beat for this song.
Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?
I chose this song for my first music video because I really like songs that build up and have tension and release. The message is ‘Don’t give up on your dreams‘ because if you do, you will lose yourself. I thought this song was a good single to release as it will set the tone for all of the other ballad-esque releases I will be releasing soon!
